【東北】Field trip to Nasukashi - Primary School Visit

Field trip to Tohoku at year 2010

Nasukashi 那須甲子

Fukushima 福島

It is located 230km away from Tokyo

very very far.......

nearly 3 hours drive I perhaps

Of course I do not have a car

My scholarship association provide us transportation

Bullet train!!!!! Shinkansen!!!

One of my fav transport in Japan

But it is the most expensive transport in Japan

more expensive than air plane (>.<)!!!

Just a simply post

I saw Pokemon train while waiting for the bullet train

so cute!!!!!

After 1 and half hours of bullet train

then reached a place call Shinshirakawa 新白河

Then there is a bus fetch us up to the hill



here we are!!!!

国立那須甲子青少年自然の家

A national institution for youth education

This is the place where we will join all the events and volunteer

Volunteer job is to clean the forest and the rooms and the building

tough.....

We stayed here 5 days 4 nights

seriously tiring.......



From the place we stay

we are able to view these mountains

as we are on top of the mountain as well

haha

This post I will be sharing my experience

on visiting a primary school around that area

That is not the only primary school I visit though

I visited... 1.. 2...3... I cant remember....

is part of my "job"

as a scholar of AsiaJapan Alumni 
(supported by Minister of Foreign Affairs)

Being the representative of my country
(as only 1 scholar from 1 country each year... proud me... lol)

to visit and interact with the kids

Well I really learned a lot and had fun though (^^,)

here how Japan primary school looks like

There are swimming lesson since primary school

everybody must know how to swim

How I wish Malaysia's primary school have swimming pool!!!!!!

well I learned how to swim when

My mom just throw me into the pool when I was a baby

Then dreaming of becoming a Mermaid

haha

One more point is

the pool is so CLEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So nice environment right??!!

But

They have to go to school from Monday - Saturday

depends on school

from morning 7 or 8am to evening 5 or 6pm

Long period

My Japanese friends was shocked when they heard about

Malaysia school finish at around 1pm hahaha

Good thing about malaysia is can go back early!!!!!

For Japanese kids

They had been trained since small to stay long hours in school

that makes them stay long hours in office....

till late night.....

well
